Lead Coach, Nicci Hill

My swim team experience and love for swimming began as a 6 year old swimmer for Fermata Swim Team and Club in Aiken, SC. I swam for them each summer, adding in year round for Augusta Swim League (USA Swimming) 7th grade through my senior year. I became the assistant coach of my summer swim team after my senior year.

My coaching experience continued through college when I coached for a year round USA Team in Idaho Falls, ID while in school. After getting married we then moved to Rock Hill, SC where I ran the YMCA Swim Lesson program for 8 years and coach swim team as well for 2 years.

Swimming and coaching kids is my "Happy place" as well as my passion. I hope to spread that same passion to each and every one of our team members and families. This will be my 6th year coaching for the Copperfield Dolphins and I look forward to another great swim season!

Assistant Coach, Zion Thomas

I started swimming at five years old with the Ponderosa Piranhas and competed in NWAL throughout elementary, middle, and high school. During high school, I worked as a swim instructor, and while in college I began coaching summer league. After competing as a varsity collegiate water polo athlete, I decided to return home to give back to the sport and community that shaped me.

I am currently the Head Water Polo Coach at Fleet and Langham Creek High School, serve as an assistant swim coach at LCHS, and work as a Head Coach for our Zone All-Star team. I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and building something special with each and every one of you.

Assistant Coach, Becca Binns

i started swimming with the Copperfield Dolphins at age four and continued swimming with the team through age 18. Growing up in the program helped me develop a love for the sport and gave me confidence both in the water and in myself. I also swam competitively for club teams and began playing water polo in high school.

I now attend Texas A&M University where I am a Finance major and continue to play water polo. Swimming and being in the water have always been a huge part of my life, and the Copperfield Dolphins played a big role in shaping that experience. I’m excited to give back to the team I grew up with by helping younger swimmers improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy their time in the water. I’m looking forward to a fun and successful season with the Dolphins!
